2022 Z19 arrived. No jump start on power switch.

Finally picked up my new 2022 Z19.It’s a beautiful boat and I love everything about it. One thing I noticed is that I don’t have the jump start option on my main power switch. Anyone know why? 21 models had it. 855E41D8-DFA6-498D-BB6E-F2B1C08BE4AD.jpeg

That's exactly how my Z18 came. I installed a Tournament Saver Pro which can be operated from the console. There was not much cost difference between it and one of the jump start switches. I look at like an insurance policy, a waste of money until you need it.

My 2022 Z21XL is the same...no third position on the switch.

What batteries ? Also . When used to jump they almost always blow the fuse in the head of the trolling motor

Well that’s not cool. Did they at least connect your TM to a CB?

Cranking battery is AGM. Two 31 series interstates for TM batteries.

That’s too bad. Must’ve done some number crunching when it comes to the extra cables and cost of the jumper switch and decided to quit offering it.

I’m wondering if they were having issues with it? At any rate, it’s not a big deal to me. I’ll just carry a set. Was just curious if anyone knew why.

There seemed to be quite a few of the jump equipped switches being wired wrong and causing problems. Would be simple to buy the switch with jump position, cables and install it if you wanted it

I was wondering if it had to do with option for Lithiums...and maybe not jumping from Lithium to regular Lead-acid/AGM...but not sure. I carry a set of jumper cables from Harbor Freight regardless...in case I need to jump across another boat or something else.

Great looking boat! As you said, my 2021 Z19 has it. I have already used it when my Interstate AGM failed. Worked as it was supposed to, and, did not blow the fuse in my Ultrex. One thing, if you plan to replace the motor toter with one of the newer style, do it soon or you will scratch up the lower unit paint with the one that came with the boat. Russell Marine Products has a nice one for $160 that comes with steering clips.
