Best thing I found is to balance all your trailer tires. Tow vehicle tires too.

We haven’t on the straight poles found an answer to the vibration. We have balanced tires and that didn’t help in our opinion.
This is the primary reason for the bent poles on later models, it seems to helps with harmonics. They also pinned the lower base, and added a gusset under the step in recent years.

run a bungee cord around it while towing? from bow hook around pole and back to bow hook?
