    1997 461vs transom rings access?

    How does a guy get to the nuts for the transom rings on a 461vs? I think one is a little loose would like to tighten it up a bit

    You can't see them through the round access panel in the splashwell?

    You may need to reach to those areas.....

    There are 2 black caps covering them in the top of the splash well

    However, on mine the nuts are on the motor side, but if the bolt spins where it goes thru the transom, I would reseal it.

    No no im noy talking about the motor bolts. Im talking about the rings that the tie down straps hook on to to sevuse the boat to the trailer

    Oh, the only way to get to them is from reaching in from battery, oil tank, charger compartment

    This ^ and if you do get back there maybe put in the biggest SS fender washers you could fit, fiberglass back there is not to thick.
