Got the new boat home today

After being out of town a bit, the new 2022 ZXR21, color option 2, was ready to be picked up. Got the boat home today and hope to do the engine break in tomorrow!

Options: hydraulic jack plate, group 31 cranking battery, Skeeter cover, stack mount with Garmin 126sv livescope and 12" Helix on bow.

No problem getting in broke in before then. Great fall fishing here beginning sometime in October through the end of the year - my favorite season for spotted bass.

Opened it up on two longer runs today. Just me in the boat with gear plus 3/4 tank of gas. Top speed of 71.9 mph via gps. Trimmed up with jp at 14. Will keep tweaking that, but very pleased to see that speed at just under 6k rpm's.

Interested to hear your 10 hour report on oil levels. Still debating on how to break mine in. Seems 3 hour by the book and then send it has been the best way

I did 5 hours by the book and it made oil pretty bad. After that I ran it wide open for a few 30 min runs and it hasn’t made oil since. I currently have 9 hours on mine.

How long did you have to wait on this one? Thinking of selling my 2021 FXR20 and ordering a 2022 and was curious on the lead time.
