My power light is staying on no matter the switch position

Remove the plate on the bottom of the foot pedal to access the connectors for the switch. Once removed find the wire for the switch and remove each one and put some dielectric grease on the terminals. the grease can be found at an auto parts store. Put everything back together. It should work. If not then replace the swatch and repeat what I mentioned with dielectric grease.
Make sure you shut power off the the troll motor when charging the batteries by unplugging power or shutting off power in the battery compartment.

I am not sure about the long part of the post above me - I just swapped out the switch on my older ultrex for a new one and that took care of my issue. I do turn mine off during storage.

took connecters off, tightened and applied dielectric grease. Everything good, works fine again, thanks guys.
