Greek grilled chicken sandwich with homemade naan

I followed the below recipe last night and this is easily one of the easiest and best things I have ever made.

That stuff is great on hot summer evenings! I throw some fresh chopped dill into the sauce. Love the naan bread. If you don’t have a flat top, a griddle or pizza stone on the grill works the same for it.

I tried this last week. The naan didn't rise for some strange reason. I'm going to try it again next week. The chicken was great!

Did you proof the yeast? I buy the jars instead of the packets because I go through so much. Also, be careful with the water temp when you proof it. Too hot and you kill it. I put in a tsp of sugar into the warm water along with the yeast. Usually get a big foamy head on it within 10 minutes.

My wife asked me the same question which I didn't know what poof the yeast meant. Now I know.

I made these again over the weekend for a friend get together. Just as good. Mike if you missed proofing the yeast then it most likely wouldn’t have risen. I bought the quick proof stuff this time and it was ready in like 2 minutes.

Do you do everything on a Blackstone?

I did the naan on it but grilled the chicken on my kamado joe. You could easily do it on the blackstone or even a regular pan on the stove.

We did this yesterday and it was a hit! My wife didn't watch the video when I sent it so she just picked up naan from the store. If you haven't made this yet do yourself a favor and get on it.

I printed this out when this thread first started. Like many others, it got stuck in the folder where recipes go to die.... Luckily I dug it out over the weekend. Roomate and I LOVED it. She's a vegetarian so I added some falafels (out of a box) for her. Everything was really good and surprisingly easy. Thanks for the tip, will be making again.
