Red river lower end?

Is the red river any void right now in the lower pools? Alexandria and/or below…. I think Shreveport pools get fished too much, but I don’t know, only been once, like 20 years ago and I was fishing as a coangler…(that was out of nachitoches(sp?))

I look at it most every day in Alexandria. It looks a little stained but not bad. I think it's still a little high but not positive. I think it's worth a shot if you hit the rock jetties.

It’s on my short list of places I want to try…. Everything around here is blown out… marsh is dirty, pearl is high and out the banks, other north shore rivers are blown out, some had fish kills….

So I’m either back to the basin or go try something new…. I like the challenge of new water…

Pool 2 (Alexandria) is around pool stage.....was in there a few weekends ago and it was stained in the main channel......as of today, we haven't gotten to much rain from this storm so water should be close to the same....
