So I had a club tournament yesterday on the Upper Chesapeake Bay. Ive been fishing a lot here locally near Seaford Delaware, towing less than 40 miles a lot, but since it's over 110 miles one way I figured I'd check the trailer bearings. Sunday I jacked it up and spin the wheels and listened to them, the Starboard side was slick and quiet, the Port side made a little noise. Not much but a little. Monday I thought about it and decided maybe I better look at it, so I took the wheel off. The rubber seal had come off the end of the axle cap, water had gotten in the hub and the rear seal was destroyed. I had to get into the box of yard sale parts and replace the rotor assembly and bearings as well as the caliper which had a stripped bleeder. I may change them side to side to take advantage of the bleeders which now will be useable because the ones that aren't stripped will be on top.
No issues in yesterday's 220+ miles of towing except I'm worn out.
