I’d like to see every missing person get this much press. So many kids go missing each year. Sad.

Being pretty and her having a social media following makes this case a popular one for the news media to cover.

Right!! Ole west_tn has had plenty of time now to tell us exactly how he would have handled this situation differently, but it certainly appears that he is no longer willing to give us any further instruction in the art and science of Homicide/Missing Persons investigations.

At this point, I believe that we can safely conclude that his initial determination that the police bungled this investigation was the result of a misinformed individual with an inability to keep his mouth shut.

Case closed with no further investigation....😂😂😂

Following some. Strange case for sure! No telling what really happened. We may or may not ever know.

They said the body was consistent with Gabby Petito, but dna testing is needed to confirm the identity.

I couldn’t handle your job. Having to deal with murders on a daily basis would have me committing myself. Glad we have those of that can. Thanks for your service
There’s no use being stupid if you’re not willing to show it off.

If you were to compare stories, the whole murdaugh story in South Carolina is way way, way,way beyond this. I feel bad for this young lady, but there are hundreds of the exact same cases going on right now, just days old and ongoing, with no body found yet. Why is this one so important? There will be movies made about the murdaugh situation, and yet no one will remember this girls name in 2 months. Crazy the control the media has what the general population thinks about.

I'm assuming they couldn't arrest him for a stolen van because there is no report of it being stolen. I'm sure he had permission to drive it. There is no evidence he was not allowed to drive it back home. It appears he did it. If she was found alive and the police had arrested him for a stolen vehicle and he was given permission, I'm sure there would have been heck to pay.
