Have you ever wanted to work on or study your Depth Finder or GPS in your house. With this one little plug, you can easily make it possible to plug in and power up a Lowrance unit in the comfort of your home, hotel, shop, etc away from your boat.
I just connect a spare power cord to a 12V motorcycle battery, works fine and the battery is not too big or heavy.
I do the same but use a spare battery from a remote control ride on car that is 12 volt and small but works well.

A 12v 5a generic laptop charger from amazon. I had a spare Lowrance power cable and I got the male plug and installed it on the Lowrance cable.
