    Guys a little help ranger 198

    I have a 2018 ranger 198 8 ft talons 150 4 stroke. Hydro jack plate 4 blade bravo 25 pitch. The issue I put lithium batteries in. Now I turning 6600 rpm at 55 mph. Any suggestions on getting the rpm down

    ... now you weigh less in the stern because of the battery switch and you might have to lower the outboard some to compensate. All boats are sensitive to a weight change of this size.

    Take the prop in to get some additional cupping. It should provide better bite in the water AND it'll drop your RPM down as well.
