This is the third year in a row I have not fished Kentucky Lake. Maybe next spring it will be better.

Looking at those names, those are some of the best sticks in the area and only 3 managed a 2-day limit. It is always tough this time of year but man that seems even worse than I expected. Three 3lbs fish over two days even got a check. Brutal

When less than 10lbs over 2 days get a check... You have entered Ohio river territory. Not good.

This has always been a tough time of year on the lake. Even when it had a booming population of Bass. I fished the Paris And North area Saturday of that tournament. (Had I known I would have not been there) Caught about 10 fish.. all early, all non-keepers. probably 75% of them smallmouth. Not a bite after maybe 8:00. 1st time I've been on the lake in a while.. I just didn't find any bait off the main lake and it was pretty rough out there, which surprised me? Wind was straight out of south and constant enough to be an issue. So main lake stuff was tough to fish and fishing real small. Love to know how those that caught them were handling? Saw a lot more Carp than I have been seeing my previous few trips.. They are really stacked up shallow in the bays.
