Fuel tank location

I’m a new bird owner 2020 818pro and was wanting to mount a rod tamer for the back boater. How far below the deck is the fuel tank? I’d like to mount it behind the passenger seat over to the side wall

Not far be very careful just a inch or so

Ok thanks. I just don’t want to get into the tank. I’m trying to find a way to secure my fishing partners rods when traveling at high speeds.

You might be more likely to hit the rubber fuel lines more than the tank at that location. Best thing to do is remove the lid and watching as you install your thing you want to install. It only takes about 5 min to remove the seats and pull those screws holding the deck on.

Ok I’ll go ahead and remove the deck. I wasn’t sure what that was going to consist of but seems to be relatively easy.
