Hudson Lake
Has anybody used Bass Haven or Lake Side as it used to be called up by the Strang bridge to unload lately? Thinking about looking around up in the river of Hudson tomorrow and don't feel like bouncing up there in the wind.

Ramps useable but on a scale from 1-10 probably 3. Actually ramps not that bad the huge boulders in the parking lot Sometimes there is thirty trailers from club events you have to maneuver around. We fished sat went out of snowdale and ended up in the river. Caught most our fish in the lake. Fished Gibson Sunday and it was tougher

Thanks it has always been rough on the parking up there. It has been 3 or 4 years since I used it and was hoping it had been fixed up. We ended up going out of Lions Club ramp like normal. Never made it to river stayed between bridge and Spavinal Creek did okay but not great.

Hudson is tough this time of year, if they're releasing water out of Pensacola, then definitely up river is the place to go, water temps can drop almost 10-15degs the further up you go.
If no water flow, then I'd spend time in either Saline or Spavinaw creeek. Just gotta be aware of the all the lower unite eaters in the mouth of each cove....
