    2015 250 ETEC Trim Issue

    I have a 250 etec and the trim has quit working. None of the trim switches are working and you can hear the relay clicking. It acts like it has no power. Can anyone help me with this issue.

    The first thing that I would do is check and see if you have power going to the trim motor. If not then check the relay. The relay is quite often the issue, and it's kind of pricey....

    Fixed the issue by disconnecting the wires off of the positive side of the battery and it starting working. Only thing i could figure was i had the charger plugged up during a thunderstorm and it received a power surge.
