Ive only been on priest 2 or 3 times before. Does the lake have any grass anywhere. Also anyone have any recommendation on the best ramp to launch from? Or any ramps i should avoid? Thank you

Yes it has some grass but nothing like Nickajack, Wats Bar, Old Hickory, etc. In my opinion Fate Sanders Marina by far has the best location to launch from, it is on the most part mid lake so you can go up in the river or down towards the dam easily. JPP is mostly a rocky lake and it gets extremely shallow extremely fast. You definitely need good mapping to navigate it safely, at least until you learn how to navigate it.
There is a little bit of grass in a few areas towards the dam. Fate Sanders is the most used ramp on the lake, which is where most tournaments go out of. The water level will start dropping next month I believe. I normally launch from Fate Sanders, or Long Hunter state park.
