Does anyone have a solid idea of what motor mounts void Mercury's warranty? There's got to be some kind of guidance on what they won't allow and what they will other than rumor. If it helps, I'm looking to install one of these:

But I'm sure any clear guidance would assist anyone thinking about power poles and other mounts.
Don't know if this is the current Mercury policy but it used to be you cannot sandwich anything between the motor and transom. Jackplate mounts ok and this mount http://www.basspro.com/shop/en/power...mounting-plate essentially if you have to loosen and remove a motor mounting bolt for installation that is an issue.

I just installed the adapter plate bassbama mentioned yesterday. I called BPS/Tracker and they say that is the mount recommend and will not void the warranty. I am mounting the Micro Anchor I just got onto it. The nice thing is that if/when I upgrade to a Sportsman PP the mount will work for it also.

So I went to the source to get the official answer. Here's what Mercury told me:

Seems reasonable enough. Plus, I can't imagine how an anchor pin mount would cause a motor failure.
