Stuck seat

I am the 4th owner of a 2000 javelin 18f/s. It is in great shape for 20 yes old. I cannot get one of the seat to pull out to use on a pedal. The other seat comes out easily. It has a post that it is secured by. It will twist but not pull out. I don’t want to pry because may crack fiberglass. If I could get below it I would try to tap it out but can’t find a way to get under it. Any suggestions? If I can figure out how to post pictures I will. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Clamp on the seat post and tap the clamp?

Or if you don’t mind ruining/replacing the post drill through it and put a bolt through.
