    Looking For New Trailer

    I have a 2014 ZX20 trailer thats falling apart. Looking at options to replace it. Any suggestions?

    Get a aluminum and forget about it. My EZ loader rotted out under the bedliner on the axles and replaced it with a Coastline Custom and love it. Boat 2010 ZX250.

    You could contact skeeter and see if they can do one of the new skeeter built trailers. After having a 2015 ranger I will say the skeeter trailer is better than the rangers.

    Hey guys thank you for your responses.

    I spoke with Smith some time ago and he didn't have any. I've tried to contact my Skeeter dealer but they are saying it's 8 months or more out.

    I heard about Coastline Custom. I need to call them

    I have a welder showing up at my house today for repairs on a 17 ZX225 trailer. EZ loaders are crap!!!

    Yes they are crap. I bet I've had my trailer welded 6 times

    Yes. And having just bought a new SkeeterBuilt trailer, all I can say is WOW! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! it’s 10x the quality of the EZLoader that the boat came with.

    I wonder what the difference is . My 2006 is still in great shape and I couldn’t guess the amount of miles on it. What is breaking on your trailers. Just curious so I can keep an eye on it

    I haven’t been particularly happy with my 2018 Skeeter trailer. The stand for the winch fell off at the ramp due to a faulty weld. It also seems to increasingly be falling apart at the 3 year mark…

    The older, square tube trailers tend to rust from the inside out. The springs sag quickly. I have had a spring fail. It rusted in half. Luckily it was at very low speed…20mph. It almost flipped the boat and trailer on its side. Trailer seemed to be minimally adequate for the weight of the boat. Add accessories and I KNOW it wasn’t capable of carrying the weight. Cheap wiring.

    Mine was where the front side of the fenders attached the main part of the trailer. I don't think it was a structural concern but it shouldn't have cracked on both sides for a four year old trailer. The welds seems be holding well so far. Crap trailers for sure.
