You can buy a Dnr passport for $34 online or pay $9 per day when you're here. If your going to be here for more than 3 days then buy the yearly pass. I will say that during the fall, the booths usually are not manned during the week. When are you planning on coming up and for how many days?

I think it was 2 years ago they switched to require a recreation passport at every Michigan launch. 75% of lakes don't have a manned booth, so it's just an honor system that you buy the pass.

That being said, buy the year pass, it's your fee for coming to poke my fish!!!! Bring your warm clothes too, it's already cooling quick up here!

At any Metro you have to buy a vehicle and boat sticker. Very expensive. They do give senior discounts. Probably best to stick with the DNR ramps.

Gun will need DNR tag for State Park. County Park is $3 to launch and $3 to pull (automated system) but gate might be pulled by then making it free. Gull will be a $10 launch fee (Township Park)
