Easy question... End of March, early April which lake strictly for smallmouth?
Thanks
Although after thinking about it, it may not be an easy question.
Again, thank you

Here's a couple of trips from Dale Hollow this spring. However, it can humble you real quick if a cold front blows through too...
Cherokee! Its not near as crowded as Dale hollow and the fishing is better too! Social media has pretty much destroyed Dale this year is the worst i've ever seen it! Cherokee seems to be staying under the radar

Thanks guys.
This must have been a tougher question that I thought with 157 views and two responses.
Thanks again.
Another vote for Cherokee. If you stay in East Tennessee, give South Holston and Watagua a look as well. I live near Cherokee but have had some crazy good days late March and early April at both of those as well. They are both next to the Appalachian Trail, so it will be weather permitting. I can get out on Cherokee or Douglas when the roads are iffy at the other two.
Ok thanks again.
I'm thinking about splitting my time between the both of them leaning more time at Cherokee Lake.
Now time to look for a economical cabin at Cherokee as I've been to Dale.
The smallmouth are more located in the lower end of the lake.
What area, towns would this be considered? Would you agree for numbers- Cherokee
For size - Dale Hollow?
