    Repairing/Redoing Older Tie Down brakes

I have an 2005 Nitro on the original trailer which has Tie Down Eng. surge brakes model 70LC, I disconnected the system a couple years ago due to some issues and now I am looking at replacing the rotor and calipers on the old system. I believe the actuator to be in good working order, as I did replace a few parts in it awhile back and its holding fluid with no leaks. The trailer is a single axle and it looks like my old rotors are a little warped, so I will need new rotors and calipers/pads. The rotor itself measures 9.25" in diameter and the lug bolt spacing is 5 x 4 1/2". Is there a specific brand or model I should look for? I think these are 3500 Lb hubs with a total weight of 7k

You may want to take the top off and clean the reservoir out with a paper towel. My reverse solenoid was sticking this year and to remove it I had to take cover off and was surprised how much gunk was in there. Its a 2007 trailer replaced actuator once and maintain brake fluid often so while its out may be prudent to look.

This is what you're looking for, for part numbers for brakes/rotors/hubs, etc. https://www.tiedown.com/pdf/c752.pdf

I got a feeling your 9.25" might be a 9.6". They do make an 8" as well. You can double-check all this by identifying the part number on the back of the brake caliper, as the 8" and the 9.6"/10" use a different caliper size. You can also check against the pictures in the link above as well.

    Good Luck!
