    Bow lift

Will raising the motor with the jack plate give more or less bow lift?

Most likely less due to geometry. Raising the engine shortens the distance to the fulcrum creating less leverage to lift the bow.

Neither. Trimming the motor up applies more lifting leverage to the bow at speed. Raising or lowering the jack plate affects different forces depending on speed. All these forces are in constant flux due to boat speed, water condition, trim angle, PTP height, etc…

Depends on the boat, motor and jack plate. Normally trimming up the motor will increase bow height but raising the motor can help increase it too by getting the lower unit higher prop to pad. It can increase speed too and cut down on chine walk.
