Imo fishing is brutal from Oklahoma south in sept. Typical tourney results show 2 day avg usually wins with 34-35lbs in Oklahoma. That’s the weights for the fellas that “found em”. I’d go somewhere like McGee creek or broken bow. Maybe not a lot of big fish, but the numbers would be fun.
Worst time of the year to consistently find fish around here. Like Haftafish said, Broken Bow, McGee Creek, Pine Creek would also be where I'd go. You might hit it right and catch lots of schooling small fish on top or with a Ned & small swimbait. It could also be terribly tough. I've seen it both ways down there.
