    Bow raising high help!!!

I just bought a 94 BMC 18' boat with a 96 marine 200 efi super Magnum. Took it out for first time the other day and from above idle to bout 25 mph I'm the bow is raising. By 10 seconds or so before it planes I'm bout 30 degrees or so checking out the tree tops. Anyway to keep the bow from riding so high?

Good looking rig. You are trimming down all the way under before you try to hole shot right?

Many of those older rigs squatted quite a bit on take off, and that is a lot of set back, you may need to look into a whale tail, or transom wedges to give you more negative trim angle.

I've ordered some nautilus smart tabs. Was gonna see if they helped. Also was wondering if the if the motor is set right on the jack plate. I measured from the transom to where the motor mounts on the jack plate it's 9"

Set your motor height for optimum performance, then adjust for holeshot.
So, find your best height for performance first, then see what it needs.
