Chester County Bass Masters held their 4th of five Points Opens for the 2021 season on September 25th out of Anchor Marine in North East Maryland.
51 Teams showed up on an early Fall Saturday in search of a 5 fish limit of Upper Bay black bass.

Fluctuating weather and heavy rains the day/weeks leading up to the TX dropped water temps 10 - 12 degrees and had the entire Upper Bay a virtual mud pit.
Conowingo Dam had spill gates open Saturday which brought a lot of debris into the bay with several full size trees floating around the lower Northeast.
Air temps at launch were around 55 with little breeze. The tournament launched at 6:30 under cloudy skies with a forecast high of 75.

    Winds picked up in the afternoon to the normal 10 with the cloud cover increasing;
Water color on Northeast was muddy.

Launch was on a falling tide with low at 9:00 am and high at 1:30pm

Five flights went out with the first flight due back at 2:30 and each additional flight of 10 boats due back ten minutes apart.
    --------------------------------------
The severe conditions had the bass in hiding as only 14 of the 51 teams weighed in 5 fish limits of 12 inch bass, another 5 teams had 4 fish.
14 five fish limits were brought in.
14 weights over 10 lbs. were brought to the scales.
9 bass over 4 pounds were weighed in.
1 bass over 5 pounds was weighed in.

6 cash places were paid, along with 20 sponsor prizes from Susquehanna Tackle, Rhino linings of Delaware, Dobyns Rods, Zee Bait Company, Steak & Main Restaurant, Eastern Marine of Newark, Nichols Lures, 13 Fishing, Cabelas, Buff USA, Cal Coast Fishing, Harmony Fishing Tackle, Bass Pro Shops, Boomerang Tools, Smallmouth Crush, Hayabusa Hooks, Native Tungsten Weights, Hi Seas Line, Bass Cat, Simms, Venom Lures, Trailer Parts Superstore of Newark, Catch Commander Scales and Black Rifle Coffee Company.

21 boats participated in $ 60 option pot which paid 3 spots.

The winning boat is eligible for the Power Pole Captains Cash and the T & H Marine contingency cash if they are signed up for those programs.

CCBM Open # 1 and # 2 Winners will collect over $ 500 extra from the Contingency Programs Sponsors.

Thanks to everyone who came out to fish, we and our sponsors appreciate the support and friendly competition.

The next ( and last ) Chester County Points Open tournament of 2021 ( # 5 ) will be on Saturday, October 16 out of Anchor Marine.
We'll count your 4 best scores out of our 5 Points Opens toward our top 5 year end awards.

( We will also have a non points cash Open, paying 3 spots on November 13th, same entry and Option Pot, no sponsor prizes )
