    Scratch Repair Recommendation

Hi all, looking for recommendations on whether or not I can do this repair myself. The scratches can be felt by the fingernail. I don't know if it's through the gel coat - looks like it?

Before I buy a buffer, sandpaper, etc., I'd like to hear if you think I should try or just take it in to a professional.

Appears to be at least through the clear….may have to grind out, spray base, flake/clear, clear, sand buff. Hard to tell from just that pic.

My 2c, take a lot of skill to fix these scratches to level without making a mess. If it can be fixed it will be done by a very experienced clear gelcoat repair guy.

All depends on your skill level, not being rude but if you are asking I'm going to say you'll probably spend more on materials and tooling than having a shop do it honestly. There are some way to get it "ok" but repaired to match might be a investment if you are not set up to do such work.
