Cahmpion 171 Top speed

Is anyone running a 171? If so what kind of speed are you getting. I have a 171 with a 115 merc and can only get 35 mph gps. 13.25x17 aluminum four blade prop. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My buddy's would do 56-58 depending on load with a 140 Suzuki. Not sure on his prop.

Get Josh at Steves to work you a merc lazer II. That's a 50 mph rig when it's setup correctly. Aluminum prop and setup correctly will never be in the same sentence.
