CX 19 speed and rough water?

I am wondering those who has the CX 19 could tell how their boat rides in rough water and what top speeds they have gotten. Thanks.

I have spent quite a bit of time in one of these boats. The boat rides and fishes very well. It feels like a 20 foot boat. My buddies boat has a 225 Mercury 4 stroke engine. The boat has 2 ten foot raptors. He is turning a 24 pitch 3 blade Fury prop 5900-6000 RPM's. Top speed with tournament load is 64-65 MPH. Hole shot is not great honestly. I believe that this boat would perform better with a 23 pitch fury.

I don't have a 19 footer, but owning a cx20 pro something isn't right about your buddies setup. At best his prop slip is 15%.

I agree. That should easily be a 70mph plus boat. We sold 2 CX18's with 175hp motors, both with power poles and they are seeing mid 60's.
