    AVX2080 speed

I have a 2019 AVX2080 i bought this year. 200 Pro XS, hydraulic jackplate, 22pitch Fury prop. I can only get 52 or 53 mph out of this thing. Is that normal or should i be seeing closer to 60?

I’ve got the same setup except running a 23Tempest Plus. I’ve only ran it empty one time but with two people in it I saw 65 and change. Later with gear and two in it still saw 64 and change. I have noticed it will jump to 58/60 pretty quick and work slowly to the upper speeds

I have dual power poles too with a bobs hydraulic jack plate my boat stays fully loaded. Normal top end speed i would say 63mph but i need more lift.
Are you sure that merc is getting full throttle?

Good Question, I am taking it to the dealer next week and letting them check it out.

Just got boat back today, mechanic has been backed up. My #5 spark plug was fouled out and my motor wasn’t getting full throttle. They adjusted it and replaced plug. They hooked it to the computer and ran it. It was running 63 with 2 people and a full tank of gas at 5750 RPMs. I knew something wasn’t right. All I could get out of it was 53.

Glad your taken care of, I wish I would have just stepped up and got into the 2080. I think its still in the future for me but will be a few years.
