Heard a co-angler won it with a 20 pound limit?????? Hard to believe but I reckon it happened.

Not sure about winning, but I was in line behind the bag and it was 19 plus.

Was told of a co angler having close to 19lb boated in the first hour and the boater had almost 13lb. Now if that co angler was the one that won it, not sure. Was told the damage was done between the bridge and the plant. Big motor started 1 time, initial blast off if I had to guess.

The rivers are coming back!!!! I just thought I'd say it and beat some river rat to the punch.

Seems Plymouth was the spot for the majority of bites Friday...the river was high, muddy, and fast making the big bite hard.

Found out that the non boater mentioned above was the one that won it all.

Roanoke is a great fishery imo, but i only seem to be able to catch smaller bass. I can't locate any big bites!
