    Trolling rod holders in AVX

I have an AVX 1980 and was looking to install 2 rods holders for trolling when the walleye are biting. Anybody have a set up or recommendation for something that is easy to install and remove? I'd prefer not to drill into the gunwale.

    Thanks.

I believe Millennium(?) has a system that will work. I built a deal for another brand boat with 1.77 seat posts out of pvc pipe. It has holders for 2 rods and an umbrella for my wife. It slides over the post base below the seat. Works great.

I thought about making something out of PVC, any chance you have a pic available? I found something from Rod Trees that would work, Quality item but its $$. I also found this, maybe to clamp around the seat post. https://ocmounts.com/products/ram-tu...aw-rap-119-404

The rest of the plan was to mount the top of this onto the flat portion of the cleat mount. Which would allow a lot of different rod holders for telling.

Here you go. The pic shows it installed on the front deck of my Lowe 1405. I built it for the rear deck of my Gambler which I sold. It'll definitely get used on the rear deck of my 1980cc when it arrives this month.PXL_20210830_201402030.jpgPXL_20210830_202612232.jpg
