Transom construction?

Does anyone know what the Tracker transoms are made of? From what I gather they appear to be full aluminum without any wood on the inside. I don't see a huge need to reinforce them heavily, but if there is wood on the inside then that changes things a bit.

I only ask because I'm contemplating on whether or not it is more ideal to buy a 2" transom reinforcement plate for the lower holes on the engine, or if I should buy a full on 8" plate which is one solid piece of metal extending from the top of the engine mounting holes to the bottom.

I heard the revolution hull is all metal and robotically welded. I don't know how much that merit applies to the Bass Trackers since we are not revolution style, but more Jon boat like. I would assume it would make more sense to integrate them into that ideology as well, but who knows. For mine I can knock on it and it sounds more metal than the thud of wood. Maybe someone else knows?

I asked the service man at BPS this exact question upon delivery of my 21 Tracker and he said no wood anywhere.

Excellent! I trusted my better intuition which said it was all metal and I bought the lower reinforcement plate alone since it lacks one. I have a 6 jack plate and want to make sure it's as strong as can be back there.
