New version of SHO vs old

I've been running SHO's for a number of years now on Skeeter boats. My new 2022 Skeeter just came in today and it has the new version of the SHO on it. Anyone had a chance to run the new model and notice any differences?

Zero difference other than the cowling and charging system. Motor components are exactly the same.

I will be very interested to see how much more charge the battery gets after a long run on the water.

It will depend upon the needs of your battery(s).

If you were utilizing all of the current from your old SHO then the new motor should charge them faster. If you did not use all of the current from your old SHO you should not be seeing any difference.
