    Vexus VX 20 Prop

I own a VX20 with a Mercury Pro XS 250 four stroke engine. My propeller is a Fury 3 blade 23 pitch. The highest speed I have ever obtained is 63 MPH. I read on BBC that others are reaching the upper 60s to 70 MPH with similar boats and set ups. I am curious regarding other propellers that owners are running on the VX 20 that result in higher MPH results?

Thank you for responding. Probably a power jack plate is the factor responsible for greater speed with the 23 pitch Fury prop

VX 20 with Pro XS 250 and 23 Fury.....69-70 mph by myself....tournament load and partner doesn't slow it down much 67-68.

Manual jack plate, just took it up 1/4" at a time until it ran where I was happy.

Same set up and prop. Two things to check. Engine height...raise until your RPM's get close to 6000 (you did not list your RPM's). Or, make sure your throttle is opening all the way, again check RPM's and post that number.
