    Whitewater Lake condition

Fished this last Sunday there for the first time this year. Water had a weird color to it and no sign of weeds, which are typically thick by now. Water temp was 78 which seems low. Any chance it turned over?

I've not been there in years. I can't imagine any turnover has started.

Went there last year in September and there was no weeds. Seen several 5" to 6" shad floating. Heading down again this year in mid to late September. Anyone have the fishing report? I'll post on how we do on the 3 day trip.

NO WAY turnover is happening yet! I can't believe that is even a thought when its 90 degrees outside

I understand turnover typically occurs in fall. Having a hard time understanding how Whitewater was 78F and Brookville was 81, all on same weekend - makes no sense.

Turn over usually happens around 39 degree water temp.

The same lake can have different water temps in different areas....depth, water color, wind, and current can all effect that. Turnover generally happens before 39 degrees

The weeds have been gone for probably 3 years now they were there and then gone they claimed they never sprayed I find it hard to believe that lake was fun when the weeds were there now it's hard to get a bite
