Cable and Internet Pricing.

I have cable and internet and pay around $160 per month. Use to be around $80 then moved to $130 and now the current pricing. Have called and complained but that only gets you a momentary adjustment on the pricing. Thinking of switching to just internet but without a bundle I'm sure that will be close to $100 per month by itself. What are you guys paying?

Mine is right around $80 per month...for internet only. High speed cable.
I use the XBMC boxes from Amazon to stream TV, movies, etc.....

I am considering doing the same thing. I pay 180 for Dish and I watch fishing and the cowboy channel. We hardly watch TV at all any more. My only concern is upcoming college football season. I am considering Youtube TV.

I pay about $195.00 a month for cable and internet. Is there anything in daily life that isn't going up or seem absurd..it just about everything right now.

for Comcast, the initial internet only was $50. After 12 months it went up to $80 per month for just internet.

I have high speed internet only through spectrum and It is $80 a month. Pretty high but it works very well and supports the wife and I when we are both online or online on the computer and on Netflix and Amazon Prime

I have ATT fiber 1000u/1000d and pay 90 a month work pays 25 of that.

Same as smbass77 and kadas for me. Started out at $40/month internet only went up to $70/month, with AT&T. I've wanted to switch but we recently (pre-pandemic) had fiber optic cables laid down in our sub.

$100/month for internet only. It used to be $60. They'd raise it every few months and then I'd call and they'd drop it. About two years ago they raised it and now they won't drop it. They're the only game in town so they have me over barrel.

My mom's 240.00 or so for TV, Phone & E-net.. For Cox Cable.. I paid 100 for e-net, 8.00 a month for IPTV, I brought Flo Sports 150.00 a year, Dirtvision 299.99 a year MOTV 69.99 a year.. 51.33 a month

I just cut the cord on the cable this month. My internet with AT&T went down to 35 bucks with a 20 dollar off promotion for the year. Bill went from 240 bucks a month down to 35. Kids never even watched cable anymore. I did buy a digital antena for the local news and we do have netflix, prime, and hulu. So there are a few additional costs but we had those before anyway. I'm wondering why I didn't do it sooner.

We stream everything. Our ISP has a streaming service that starts a little over 60.00 with 8 basic channels. I get the middle of the road package that is 89.00 and includes more channels than I can watch. For 99.00 you get HBO, Showtime or Starz. I pay 7.95 a month for Netflix instead and I'm out he door for a hair over 100.00 taxes and fees. I don't count what I pay for Amazon Prime sine I'd have that with or without the streaming service.

Our ISP is 250Mbps unlimited. I know there is faster, but this does anything we need, including streaming online classes.

On the flip side of great ISP prices our electric bill will likely be 400.00 this month.

We live in an internet free zone, apparently, so we are on Starlink for $99 a month. Cable is $130.
