1875 Pro V Bass trolling motor length

For you Pro V Bass owners can you run a 46" shaft TM on the Pro V Bass or do you need the added length of the 52"? I mainly fish shallow and would was wondering if using a 52" that the head would get in the way of roll casting.

I have a Pro V Bass 2075 with a 52 inch shaft Ultrex. It seems to work well for me, and I fish a lot in extremely shallow water. The trolling motor head is not a factor when casting. The 52 inch shaft keeps the trolling motor in the water when conditions are rough. As you may already know, the bow of the Pro V Bass models sits higher in the water than a traditional fiberglass bass boat, which would make any length less than 52 inches far less effective.

I run a 52” Ultrex on my 2075 with a 360. I have the 360 set as deep as it will go and the 52” allows the prop to still be deep enough that there is about 3 inches of clearance from the 360 transducer. 52” works great.

52" 112 with 360 on a 1875. I have only 4" of shaft above the lock and the 360 will come out of the water on a moderate chop.
