Skeeters need all the bow lift they can get, they start to run to their potential when you can compress air under the hull.

That usually equates to a high rake three blade prop stuck down in the water to it's leveraging the bow to lift. Because no two props are identical, that height is yours to find. Which means you'll need to know what too high and too low is.

    Wildcard setup.
I’ve never heard of that motor getting rigged on that boat. I wouldn’t have any expectations until I ran it and let the boat tell me what it wants.

That’s my biggest issue. Nothing to compare
it to. Guys at skeeter says the tzx 200 hull
Wont go any faster and I should be content
    with the numbers I’m getting.

Speed is just weight and horsepower. And dollars.

You’re running a wild card setup. Yamaha owns Skeeter, so any non Yamaha setup on anything newer than 20 years is going to be trial and error.

All you can do is start here and see what it does. The boat will tell you what it wants from there.
