St Johns - North End Gar Report

Gar were so thick Sunday we gave up and put it on the hill.

They would shred your soft plastic literally every cast.

Main River, Coves, Creeks - It didn't matter, they were everywhere.

Luke Drown and I have this conversation regularly about the river and Santa Fe. If there was a bass for every gar we would be good! But these seem to show up in droves and push the bass off. It’s bad in the south river as well. How could we manage this? A mass bow hunting tournament??

At Santa Fe, You'll see the dead gar carcasses stacked on your left, on the berm, returning to Melrose, before you make the right to the ramp. They shoot them pretty good. Critters are well fed.
