    Roanoke River

Anybody fish the Roanoke Saturday or Sunday? Was wondering how all this rain we have had has affected the water up river? Thanks in advance for any and all that respond. Thinking about heading down.

Water is stable and good. Decent bite there lately. Curious what it took to get a check with the bojangles.

That’s the problem with running up there for a tournament,if you aren’t one of the first to get there, you’ll be sucking hind tit all day.

I put in at the at the Jamesville ramp Wednesday and the turkey buzzards had a fiest on my truck. I was the only one there when i put in and the only one there when i took out. Only saw one boat all day. They crapped all over the cab, windshield, hood and front fenders and bed rails. Tore off the corner covers at the bottom of the windshield. Scratched up the hood and roof. Gonna have to go back and do what i use to do for many years. Shoot to kill.

Do what you have to do,Michael,I don’t blame you,but don’t talk too much about it. They are a protected species.

If you haven't already done so report this to the NCWRC. They have put implements in place to try and stop the birds from destroying vehicle in other parking lots on state waters. Give them first chance to try and distract the birds from that area. Enough people have complained around other bodies of water and they have acted. Until then you may need to cover your truck. I am looking at a quick easy on easy off dust cover just for that. During the middle of the week and off fishing season becomes the worst as they don't have many people/activity to distract them. Some of the people west of N.C. has been dealing with this same problem for years.

Anybody have an update on the buzzard situation at Jamesville ramp? Planning to fish there for a couple days next week, wondering if anything has been done. Just ordered a truck cover to be on the safe side but trailer will still be exposed.
