    Is it just me...??

Or is it fishing like Fall already??

I don't know about you guys...but fishing started to suck a couple weeks ago! Big, offshore schools are dispersing, shallow weeds are lookin' like trash, etc.

Usually it's a few weeks later for me, and it signals time to mostly quit fishing for the year. I'd rather deal with good hunting than mediocre fishing...and that usually happens mid September.

I'm not excited about fishing another month!

Hope things are going better for ya'll.

Not just you, I am seeing and experiencing the same thing. I'm actually hoping this is the Sept lull I normally experience, so that when Sept and Oct get here, it will be lights out for 2 months instead of just one!

I've been having to get away from the trampled metro and derby lakes to get any decent fishing. Decline the sport!!
There was a time that I didn't fish but I cannot remember it.

I'm glad I'm not a hunter as I absolutely love fishing the last half of sept thru the first week or two of Nov. You really can't do both justice during the short few weeks we call Fall.

It's been brutal for the last couple weeks for me. Most of the guys I know around town too. I'd be plenty happy for an early fall bite.

I'm with you, Brother. Can't believe how many 100 fish lakes I've found in the last 4 years. Found 2 new lakes this year...every point has schools...that bite. Kinda fun just rotating lakes all spring and summer, where you get bit at least every other cast, all day long...lol

Absolutely! We have quite a few small, hidden gems in the state.

But with 10,000 to choose from, it may take you a lifetime to find the gems. I've found more clinkers than gems thus far but I'm still willing to keep looking!!!

I've got just about every lake(with bass) south of 94 off the checklist. I'm at the point now I gotta make weekend trips to new water. Pretty much got everything within 2.5 hours of the NW Metro covered!

I'm excited the winter fishing is nearing. I'm lucky to be living in Virginia where winters are mild and the best fishing starts in November.

Fall fishing is great. I even start to like fishing Sunday afternoons again. I gave up the NFL 20 years ago, but most people are inside watching so I'm out fishing...
