H18 Trailer question(s)

Hello, planning on getting a 22 H18. i was wondering what the total width with the side trailer poles are? Also the poles are they required or no for trailering and loading boat? Thank you in advance!

Don't own H18 but do own Xpress H20Bay. Can't give you info on width. What I can is provide opinion on poles. If you have not driven a boat in long time or never the poles will be of help for the first 1 to 2 years (depends on how often you go out). Once you learn to maneuver your boat you will no longer need them. I put poles on my boat for first two years kind of beat them up and now 4 years later have not had them on for last 2 years. I can manage loading and unloading in wind, current, steep, shallow, etc... launches. Time will be your friend and practice at slow speed maneuvering in both forward and reverse when you are just out on water with nothing else to do. Have fun.
