What type of filter wrench for Yamaha SHO 250?

Appreciated the feedback on the oil pump. Finally gonna get a chance to change oil as well as fuel filter in my bilge. I cannot find my old filter wrenches and need to grab a new one. Are yall using tge strap type or adjustable type? Thanks

I use the cup type that fits the particular oil filter being removed.

Take a filter to a parts house and pick up a good cup.

Will a cup filter work on a Yamaha 10 Micron filter? (The big blue one) The bottom end of the filter is completely round....no flutes. Does the cup have to be a press fit to hold? Just wondering.

Good question. For the fuel filter I might try a strap type wrench.
