know if someone is making aftermarket props for ghost TM? Not. Huge fan of the std plastic one.

Just got my second prop from TW. (which arrived in four days with normal shipping).
We can all take bets on how long this one will last.
I used to have metal prop on my old Motorguide Tour Pro which lasted forever.
To bad an aftermarket company couldn't make one also.

This happens because the prop is the shear pin. You break props instead of motors like happening on the Ultrex.

Yea I get it. Although my Motorguide metal prop hit many rocks over the years and looked like hell when I sold it. But somehow that trolling motor never had any issues except broken cables and a bent shaft after hitting rocks.
I sold it for my Ghost.
I guess these motors are made different now.

I bought the Aqua Tech prop, I'm going to keep running it and just use the Ghost props as spares, but I don't think I'll need them!

Aqua tech. That's the one I was thinking was being made. I'll be getting my name on the pre-order list. Thanks for the info Mike 464

The factory props on the xi5 are extremely wimpy too.Shortly after I got mine 4 years ago I modified a minnkota weedless wedge 2 and put on,it's been good sense then.
