Just when things are dying down at work and I can get out, the river becomes toxic. Typical…..

Lake Anna has had algae blooms and no water contact warnings since June.

The Anna algae blooms have now occupied both river arms and formed mid/down lake. Here is the map for VA.

It's funny. The Pamonkey arm has a green stain to it and the Anna River arm has a brown stain to it.

Need more Ya'hooers up at that end to churn that stuff up and let it wash down lake?

I was out the last couple of days and there was no lack of Ya’hooers. I saw the fist one about 730.
