Ky Lake night fishing

How’s the nights fishing been? Thinking about heading down for the weekend tomorrow and haven’t night fished down there in years.

Fishing at night has been decent,, best baits for me have been a black trick worm on 3/16 shakeyhead, chatterbait, single spin spinner bait. Best colors are black/blue, black/purple, black/red. I did catch a 3.8 smallie on a black whopper plopped the other night.

Caught a smallie about 5lbs. Two weeks ago on full moon and 10-12 last Fri ,nothing big. All on double willow spinnerbait as reeling slow. Be prepared to have to vacuum mayfly carcuses out of carpet, they were really bad last week.
