I recently purchased a used '05 520vx, that hasn't been used in two (2) years. When I enter 1234 START, nothing happens except the red STOP light comes on.

On my 2011 Z519 you need to push the green start button twice to get it to fire. Also sometimes, not sure why, I have to do the sequence 2 or 3 times to get the initial red light signifying it's ready for the 2 pushes of the start button.

Start, 1234start, start a third time, on the last start hold in until motor cranks.
