Was loading the new update and things went wrong. Tring to do the recovery mode but not working. Trolling motor powers on for a second then shutdown. If I hold the power button down it going into recovery mode status light is yellow I can see the trolling motor on wife but don't know the password, motor looks to have reset as name is different anyone know password or anything 01234567 or 12345678 doesn't work
Do you have the remote? You can pair the remote and then just go in through the settings and change the WIFI settings, including the password.
I have the same problem. This occurred onsecond outing with new motor. It worked fine on first trip. Today same issues as posted by Stewali. Motor will not switch to pairing mode and cannot connect with wifi.
Call Garmin support.
