Got a few from Amazon and PayPal last year. Called Amazon and was told if there was a problem they would notify a person by snail mail. The representative said they NEVER send an e-mail or phone call.

Never go to your Amazon or PayPal accounts via a link. Always log in on your own. The I fo center on your dashboard when you log in will have any messages or updates that pertain to your account.

I got a call from Amazon about a shipment for $700 that seemed suspicious and to press 1 to speak to a Specialist. The call shows to have came from the Netherlands.

I get at least 2-3 calls a month, and probably as many emails, but they all get filtered out.

Yes, never use the links, always log on to your account separate. If you don’t have electronic access, call them, but never use the number on the email.

They will definitely respond within 24 hours and you won't like it . Don't respond yourself. Definitely a scam.

I love toying with those people. When Apple support calls me I tell them I don't have an apple I have an orange and a few bananas. They hang up on me. When Amazon calls, I tell them I don't know what Amazon is, but I have a pending order from the Congo.

Obvious scam, and a Physh looking for your account name and opassword. Forward it to your internet account they will shut them down on their network, you may be saving other people money. Like, I have Comcast/Verizon and send them to abuse@comcast.net.
